There are quite a few families that pass down brooches from generation to generation. If you're one of those people, you're definitely damn lucky! You just can't imagine the number of people who would do anything to be in your place.
So, if you're a person who's looking forward to a wedding with a brooch, you can start a whole new tradition for you future generations. Therefore, you must definitely go ahead and create a brooch for your special day and possibly something that your daughter and grand-daughter would use on their special day.
Unlike a bouquet created using fresh flowers, a brooch would be something that's much easier to handle and won't break while you walk down the aisle. However, this brooch may not be all that strong and it would definitely break when you throw it off to your bridesmaids and you'd not want to do this anyway as it's going to be used for generations (At least, that's what you hope).
Therefore, even if you choose to use a brooch you should at least get a bouquet that you could use to toss to the bridesmaids. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to building a brooch or even a bouquet. Therefore, you can let your mind roam free and modify it to the way you seem fit. Or better still, why don't you create it from scratch all on your own?
You can even add specific things from your family and closest friends that would remind you of them. Even collect a few things from your loved ones who have passed away. Of course, this is not going to be a pleasant journey for some, but you'd definitely get a smile on your face while you do it.
Pick a colour scheme
Another thing that you need to keep in mind before you begin the creation of your wedding brooch would be the colour scheme. Do you have anything special in mind or are you just going to let your creative mind get to work and decide as you get along?
Well, when it comes to a brooch just about anything looks good. But, if you haven't made up your mind yet, you could probably opt for something that's monochromatic such as made up entirely of golden coloured stuff or maybe even white or silver?
